#throwback

Hello there (to I don't know who).

I'm finally going to do another proper update about my life! Can't really remember every event but I shall update based on whatever's left in my memory lol.

Parliament House with cousin to pay our final respects to our dearest founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. We waited for approximately 2 hours only. That two hours really just flew by too. The walk there made it even more meaningful. Walking past all his works, reminding us of all the hard work and effort he had put in for this nation. Was really heartened to see so many fellow Singaporeans as well, especially the elderly, disabled and crippled. This just goes to show how Mr Lee has impacted the lives of so many different people. Without him, there'll never be the Singapore of today.

Ion Sky with the two. It was a rather impromptu trip there. (What did we even do before that?!) I think we just met up to eat non-stop as usual. The Ion Sky reminded us of the time when we were at Victoria's Peak in Hong Kong. Sigh, that wonderful night. At least there's something similar back home and it was a really spectacular sight! Really thankful to the late Mr Lee for this beautiful 'art piece'.

Ramen Champion with the siblings after work on a Saturday to celebrate sister's birthday! My first time trying their food and it was pretty good.  It was like a high-class ramen food court. Really spoilt for choices when I was there.

What's a meal without desserts. (ok actually still a meal but yeah..) First time trying gelato from Gelateria Italia although Lot 1 has an outlet too. It was kinda pricey though but it was really yummy as well.

A shot with the siblings. Thanks for waiting for me to end work so that we can have lunch together (at 4pm lol)! Really enjoy such rare moments when we can spend some time together.

In other news, Zachary disabled my phone while I was teaching him. He's still my favourite student though heheh. Love this little boy so much.

Taught him today for awhile too & he disabled my phone once again. Been 7 days since I last saw him and I really missed him! Didn't work yesterday and he asked my colleague where I was. Felt so happy when I knew about that. & once again I know it sounds very insignificant but it's really this kind of simple things that can make me fly up to the moon lol.

This adorable boy was just smiling at me non-stop from the moment I stepped in. He is really such a precious little boy that can make me forget about all the stress and worries I have (at least temporarily). He injured himself today while playing with a stapler though and I really had the 'heartbreak' feel lol. Think I sounded a little harsh when it happened and said something like "told you not to play with the stapler right!" cause I was just so worried when I saw his finger bleeding. Feel quite bad thinking back now.

Also, instead of wailing out loud, guess what he said after it happened?! "A bit of blood only! Never mind one!" Was so shocked at how strong and brave he is as a little boy (he's only about 6 or 7) and I quickly put a plaster around his wound although he kept insisting that there wasn't a need to.

This cute boy also asked me what does 'disabled' means today after disabling my phone. "Eh, what is 'disbird'?" Was just laughing at his pronunciation lol. I really look forward to work because of him. :-)

(crap how did this become a spazzing over kid post lol ok I shall move on)

Attended the soldier's POP too. Woke up at 5am to head to the Float for it. Was dying of tiredness but it was worth sacrificing my sleep, & I'm really honored that he invited us to witness this accomplishment of his.

So happy to see him at the finishing point! Kudos to you for surviving the 24km with all those things heavier than you. It was tough but you did it! I'm really proud of you, no matter which vocation you're assigned to! I believe that you'll excel in the new posting and emerge even stronger after! :-)

With 4/6 of the Snoopz.

Got ditched by the two so Clarissa and I proceeded with our pig-out day. Finally tried the food that we wanted to. Had a great talk with her over the most random things too. :-)

Impromptu trip to the URA while we were exploring around! We were so fascinated by everything inside. It's like seeing Singapore in a museum. Love it that we're so spontaneous and just decided to head in. Can't wait for our next adventure together next month (hopefully it happens hahah)! :-)

Headed out with the two again today before the soldier needs to book in again! A rather short but still amazing time together eating (again). Treated the soldier to a meal for his birthday! A rather (non-existent) 'celebration' for him but I hope that he still enjoyed it. :-)

Shall end this post here for now! I still have more to update about but I'll probably do it next time (or tomorrow).

Till then! :-)
