running

Though this might be an easy feat to many others, this is kinda a milestone for me... because it's the longest distance I've ever clocked in a month. It's actually all to train for my upcoming race and really thank God that this time I was much more disciplined in my training!

Another milestone I've achieved in this month was running more than 10km without stopping at all. Previously I had to stop (at least once) after running 6km, and that was the maximum I could go on without stopping. Really thankful that the regular training paid off and now I can run more than 10km without stopping!

Been making certain changes to my running routine too; for instance, I listen to music while I run now! I don't have those earpieces for running so I try to work with what I have and it really helped in pushing me forward for my runs. I used to dislike listening to music while running because the earpiece would be disrupting me while I run, but I finally found a way to let it stay in a fixed position for most of the distance.

Anddddd, I'd really like to thank my friend who kept on motivating me for my runs! I think if not for my friend, I'd be lazier and much more unmotivated. There was this period of time where I got pretty demoralized over my runs because I couldn't attain the speed I used to achieve, and also my stamina was at a all-time low which left me very exhausted after every run.

After I shared how I felt with my friend, he gave me this piece of advice.

This really helped me soooooo much and it worked out like how my friend said.

Really thankful and I hope everything turns out well for my upcoming race, which is one that holds a whole lot of meaning for me. :-)
