Christmas started off with 1+1 Christmas party with the ycg! The turnout was more than we expected, but really thank God that He led and gave us a memorable night to remember!!! Thankful for God's hand in this, especially with my amateur state in being a leader lol. Just so thankful that everyone was so willing to help out and contribute in ways that they could and were so welcoming to the new friends!!! :')
And also special thanks to Michelle who made time to join us for this special night!!! :')

The weeks before this day were rather hectic, especially with the two inexperienced us wrecking our heads on how we were going to work on and finish what we were tasked to do. But as usual and always, God provided and we did it!!! It wasn't easy I must admit - sewing isn't our niche and we had zero clue on how to get a sewing machine to function!!! But thank God the eventual outcome was well!!! It's really only possible with His hand in this!!
And one of them is Debbie!!! From volunteering to work together, to shopping with us, to helping us with the costumes making and ensuring that everything goes well on the actual day!!! We're really very blessed to have her :') !!!
Another person to really thank is Emily!!! Although she's young but she was so willing to help us too despite her other commitments in church!!! Beyond thankful for her too!!!
And also Joel who helped me with some of the sewing on the night before! I was kidding-ly making a passing remark to ask him to help me with the sewing and he really did so.. super touched and thankful especially when he had to report to work early the next morning!
Finally, to all the members who came as promised so that our efforts in preparing and making the costumes would not be put to waste! Really thankful for their commitment and willingness to make time to celebrate Christmas at HOF together!
Next up is the PPG!!! Really very thankful to Dorothy and Bernice for putting everything together! I really enjoyed myself as we rehearsed every session, even until the actual day when we dressed up to the actual performance. Thank you girls for this very memorable memory that will stay with me for long!!! :')
And to Phileo, my family in church! Thankful for every single one of them. It's been a fulfilling journey serving along side with everyone in the past year, and I hope and pray that we'll continue to do so in the new year ahead!!!
Not forgetting the six of them who specially made time and effort to come down!!! Thanks for all the support (though more laughter and insta-storying HAHA) and I'm glad that y'all enjoyed yourselves!!!
Really just thank God for His providence for these two events, and also the outreach we had earlier in the month! Although it has been rather busy and hectic, but my month has been amazing and very fulfilling!!! I thank God for the lessons learnt from all the events and activities as well, for showing me how much more I need and can grow in Him and His Kingdom.
Spent a rather simple Christmas eve too - tuition and then long-overdue family time and finally followed by a dinner and movie! Although there wasn't the usual family Christmas party (which I miss), but I thank God for this simple Christmas eve spent, and for showering me with so much love :')
Even as 2016 is drawing close to the end, with the year definitely not being the best year I had, but it's a one that showed me God's abounding love for me and His people. Through all the joy, happiness, laughters, tears, anger, and times of trials, He always stayed by me and provided.
God is truly amazing. Merry Christmas to you Lord, and thank You for gifting us Your son on this very beautiful day. :') We are really so blessed.
