Merry Christmas to all! :-)
Firstly, let me start the post by sharing how I spent my Christmas Eve and Christmas. Spent the first half of Christmas Eve working, and then headed to Aunt's for the preparation for our family party! I was really excited for this party since they organised it because it's been too long since I saw the rest of the family members. I'll give up all the plans I had just to attend it (which I did opps lol).
We had such a tough time preparing the food for the night, because of our lack of experience. It was tiring during the preparation but it was good to see that everyone enjoyed it! We had ham (4kg worth lol), German sausages, cheese sausages, chicken, donuts, coleslaw, mash potato with bacon, fruit salad, beehoon, brownies and logcake on the menu! It was way too much for the people we had, and all of us were just stuffing ourselves hahaha.
But, it was such a great night. Catching up with the cousins, just fooling around, exchanging gifts, singing Christmas songs etc.
And.. guess what?! We found this photo, with the six of us during Christmas after our gift exchange at the exact same place! This photo was probably taken 10 years ago, when Damian was only 1! Really so shocked by how time flew by, with the 6 of us being so different now. Glad that there's one thing that didn't change, which is that we're still as close as ever. :-)
Fisheye picture with grandmaaaaaaaaaa. :-)
Spent the rest of the night looking at old pictures, laughing at our silly looks/poses in the past. I'm really glad that aunt has all these physical copies of our childhood! It was really good to just look back like this. :')
& omg.. this photo is my favourite. This was before the 2000s kids were born, and everyone was still around. We were really so close, always having family gatherings during every possible occasion. This was during grandpa's birthday I think. Aunt was telling us how hard it took just for a proper picture to be taken. Really miss grandpa and 2nd aunt so much.. :'(
So glad to still have you (and everyone else) though, my dearest grandma. Really wish for you to stay healthy and happy (and cute) for a long long time. :-)
Oh and this is the logcake that we had! & that was how I spent my Christmas Eve. It's definitely a night that I'd hold closely to my heart for a very long time. :-)
As for Christmas itself, I spent the morning sleeping away lol. This is the aftereffects from the crazy two and a half weeks of work. Went out for brunch with sis and dad and then just back home lazing away. It's only when I'm busy that I learn how to treasure such moments when I can just sit around and do nothing.
A great lunch with the both of them nomzzzzz.
Also, on last Sunday, I attended the Christmas service at Evangel for the first time. Glad to be part of it, and I really can feel his presence. Really thank God for all these, for holding on to us whenever we're crumbling down and loving us unconditionally. I love Christmas especially much because it's simply the celebration of His birth. Without Him, I wouldn't be here right now.
Had such a great time praising Him, and thank You for giving me the opportunity to do so. I can't wait for more opportunities to be closer to Him and be a more worthy child of Him.
Shall end my post here byeeeeeeee. :-)
