Sawasdee Ka!

Finally down to update about my second trip to Bangkok! Wanted to post a video (that I'm still currently working on) to sum up the trip, but it's taking much longer than I expected so I shall do a post on it first.

I think rather than doing a day-to-day update (which was what I did previously) on what we did there, I shall just pick some of my favourite places and moments in this trip.

1. ASIATIQUE

Second time here but still as amazing. Just loved how it's much quieter and less crowded as compared to Pratunam! Didn't have to squeeze while walking around and we could take in each moment at a comfortable pace.

Unfortunately, they didn't have the food street that was there when we came here previously, if not it'd have been perfect!

Still had an awesome time though, and of course, even more amazing because of this bunch! We were really tired by the time we were here because of the early flight at 6am+ (which meant that we had to wake up at 2-3am+) so we were a little dead, but all was still good!!

2. AFTER YOU

The very renowned place for their Shibuya Honey Toast! All I can say is, still as amazing as before. :-)

3. SANTORINI PARK

We decided to be a little more adventurous and venture out of Bangkok to Hua Hin! Thankful that we did because we loved every single place we visited there! This was our first stop.

A place that's created to look like Santorini. Don't think it's anywhere near looking like Santorini but it was still a very beautiful place! I think what's more amazing was that it wasn't crowded. There were shops in there and we just took lots of pictures, walked around, took rides and ate. :-)

Dropped by a cafe in there just to chill! Really living the #taitailyfe.

Very scorching sun but still an amazing time there!!!

4. SWISS SHEEP FARM

This was at Hua Hin as well. Actually didn't expect myself to enjoy this stop that much, but it was super amazing!!!

View was amazing, and the company made it x10000 better.

We got to feed the sheep. I was a little scared of them and just fed them from a distance lol.

So cute though!!!

Emily totally fell in love with the sheep. There was one sheep that was allowed to roam around freely and we just kept trying to avoid it except Emily who kept trying to touch and feed it hahaha.

My very horrible attempt at trying to take a picture with the sheep. Because I was too scared to take another step closer HAHA. (it might mistake my hair as grass y'know)

Ahhhh sunflowersssssssss!

There were some horses too! And alpaca which we didn't get to see cause we had to pay a separate fee to do so lol.

Although the farm wasn't very big, I think we spent about 3 hours here lol. It was still scorching hot here but very amazing time here as well!!!

5. HUA HIN BEACH

I love love love love love love beaches!!!!!!!

Wanted to come here the last time we were in Bangkok, but the 3h ride here made me back out. So I was so glad to come here this time!!!!!

It was actually raining quite heavily when we arrived and we were about to leave the place without heading to the beach. Thankfully God cleared the skies just in time and we had a crazy amazing time here!!!

There were horses for us to ride as well, chargeable of course, so we didn't go for it. :P

And yup, goes without saying, spent hours here, taking in the beach and took lots of pictures!!!

Heheh pardon my selfies. Just felt sooooo happy to be here so I kinda lost control and spammed so much in my phone. Started off the day with 200+ pictures from day 1 and ended with 1000+ lololol.

Really soooooo in love with the place!!!

God is really so amazing!!!!!

6. CHATSILA NIGHT MARKET

Our last stop in Hua Hin.

It's very much similar to the night markets back in Bangkok but there was much lesser people and vehicles!

Had our dinner at a random restaurant! Pretty amazing food. :-) A good place to wrap up our entire trip at Hua Hin!

And our trip to Hua Hin was only possible thanks to our driver!!! We had such a comfortable ride there (though it was rather long) but thankful for him who drove us there and back safely!

7. ON LOK YUN

A very long ride here because we got lost but worth it (I guess lolol).

Our traditional breakfast which was so goodddddddd. :-)

8. MANGO TANGO

Look at those glorious mangoes!!!!! Super sweet and worth every cent.

And say hello to my favourite mango smoothie in the universe!!!! It was so good and I felt sad with every sip because I didn't want to finish it. I'll be back for you!!!!!!

Very happy us with the very amazing smoothie.

Clearly very happy heheheh.
I REALLY MISS THIS SO MUCH AND I CAN'T WAIT TO DRINK IT AGAIN!! T_T

9. ARTBOX

Took us quite awhile to get here too due to the jams!

It's more like an artsy place to just walk around and chill!

And enjoy good music! They were really good!!!

Paid 10baht to take this photo.

This too.

And this.

No idea why we had to but glad that at least we got nice pictures hahahaha.

Anyway this place is recommended if you want to just take a break from the endless shopping back at Pratunam!

10. TALAD ROI FAI MARKET

The journey here was just a huge scare and a very big joke. We got on the cab after Artbox to get here and we met this pretty weird taxi driver. He just kept laughing (very creepily) and his driving was so reckless. During the ride I was just thinking of who I should call to express my love for them for the last time and also my insurance plans lololol. It was really so horrifying and we just wanted to get down the cab asap lol.

And he just kinda dropped us near this mall and told us that the market is inside?? We felt so lost because all we saw was the mall... and according to Google Maps we were nowhere near. We just really wanted to get off... so we just did lol.

Okay but he wasn't entirely wrong either.. just that it wasn't the exact night market that we wanted to go. But either way, it was quite a nice place despite the crowd, and we really pigged out here!!!

There was so much food and shopping and we obviously couldn't cover them all. I was really sweating buckets from walking around and gave up wiping my sweat lol. Definitely worth a visit! But it'd have been so much better if the weather was good and if there were lesser people.

11. CHATUCHAK WEEKEND MARKET

Highly doubt this place need much introduction! Yes, lots of shopping and food. Must try the coconut ice-cream here! There're many carts around selling it so you have to try your luck and see if you get a good one!

And this was our official last stop in BKK. :-)

12. CENTREPOINT PRATUNAM

One last place! Not to visit but to stay. It's been an amazing stay here with very welcoming and helpful staff!

The room was crazy spacious for four people too?! Love it how there's this homely feel too!

Where we had our suppers, our mask sessions and our crazy talks :-)

---------------

And that's the list of places that I really enjoyed during the short 4D3N trip with TSML!

I'm really super thankful that our overseas trip together finally happened, and even more for all your company for this trip!!! And really, thank God for seeing us through the whole trip! For ensuring our safety and for letting us meet many friendly people!!!

Though we have no idea when will be our next trip together, let's work hard in the different areas of our lives now and we shall come together for another trip again heheh.

Love all the memories created together, but love you girls even more.

To many more years ahead! :-)
