Through faith we experience the joy that comes from hope (Romans 5:2)

A pretty (unexpected) amazing evening and night spent yesterday. :-)
For the first stop, we went to Punggol Waterway for a 6km run!
Weather wasn't being very merciful, but the whole route was very scenic so that helped quite a bit.
Possibly one of the best routes I've taken thus far! If only I stay nearer to that area, I think I'd jog more frequently lolol.
Second stop was Tebing Lane!
Came here for dinner and I was really so amazed how peaceful the place was?! It didn't feel like it was part of SG and it felt like the pace of life was much slower here. Didn't really capture much shots here cause I was too busy being awed by the place lol.
There's also a running route nearby!
We came over to have our dinner at Whisk & Paddle. It's a cafe that's really beautiful with a perfect location!
There was this open-dining area by the the reservoir and forest! Super breathtaking. What made everything close to perfect was the cooling weather. :-)
This place looks like those locations where people will hold their weddings at in other countries.
Really loved the whole set-up of the cafe! Unfortunately, the food wasn't extraordinary or very special, but it's still pretty decent! I think that they specialize in desserts.. so the dinner selection may not be as good.
Caught this while we were having our dinner. So much prettier in real life!
Part of the whole Tebing Lane! It actually reminded me of Asiatique (minus the shopping).
Headed over to Punggol Settlement for desserts! I've been there previously when I went to Coney Island but didn't try the food then. This was actually quite good!!!
They had the open-dining area too which made the whole meal there very enjoyable. Punggol Settlement is also by the seaside so the breeze at night was just super amazinggggggg.
And.... what made everything even better was the company!
Did all these with this very special friend of mine who has been so understanding and supportive in the things I do/have been doing for the past few months, who always gives me very sound advice on different things, who motivates me constantly and who is always very willing and patient to teach me new things etc. He's also one who showed/shows me how I should be like as a friend to others through his kindness to me.. and the list just goes on!
He's heading to OCS tomorrow so this evening and night out was sort of like for him to enjoy his last few bits of freedom before the 9-month long intense training begins hahaha.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I'm really thankful for the meaningful conversations we had over the time we spent together and thank you for being so willing to share about many things and also listen all at the same time. So thankful for this genuine friendship that God has blessed me with. :-)
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."
Ephesians 3:20
Hope that this verse will be of great motivation and stick with you throughout the long nine months!
& hope that you will soon be down to your final toothbrush HAHAHA. #insidejoke
