That instant, I thought of the promise we made. 

I looked up and saw you already looking here. I looked away instantly.

Perhaps, it was fear;
Fear that we will not come to realize that promise. 

Perhaps, it seems too far-fetched;
Too far-fetched for us to imagine the coming of that day.

"Let's explore life, the world and its many seasons and places together," you said. 

The plans we have made in the next summer, I really hope it will come to fruition. But honestly I don't want to raise my hopes too high. Not because he has failed me before, but I guess it's just a way of protecting myself from any disappointments that may arise. 

For now, I'm just thankful that we were able to fulfill one out of our countless plans of places to explore abroad. Although it sounds rather silly, we made plans earlier this year to head to JB for us to eat Hui Lau Shan lol. 

Really thankful that we ended up being able to do so much more in that one day - cafe-hopping, catching a movie, having a haircut together, ending with fulfilling our primary objective of eating HLS for the short day trip. 

And sorry that I kept refusing to head to bkk at least for the next 5 or 10 years when I was the one who kept raving about the amazing mangoes they've there lolol. 

"The only reason why I'll head back is for the mangoes."

"Okay, so let's go?"

"Umm.. not now?"

"Why not? You said you'll go for the mangoes."

"Uhh.. yup I said that.. but I just went twice within a year."

"But now it has been a year since your trip right? And you'll go again for the mangoes right?"

"Yup... *tries to say smth* Uhhh I don't know what I'm saying anymore. But anyway I'm not heading there at least for the next five years."

"Five years?!"

"Yup. :p"

You said you'll wait.. but hopefully I'll be willing to head back there again then lol :p
