Prom'14: Carousel of Memories

Hi there again :-)
Today I'll be updating about my very first prom experience! Yes, as you can see, the three of us above are in our very normal looking faces (no make up etc) and looking tired (especially me). I'm not a person who is fond of applying make up products, firstly because it's very unnecessary and troublesome. Also, my skin is rather sensitive to make up products and I usually get a pimple break out after. Lastly, the cost of make up is just insane. How does one constantly keep on spending on the decent make up products without getting broke?!
Okay before I digress even further, I shall get into the details of the preparation for our prom!
Firstly, we got our nails done one day before! Just went for the cheaper one because all of us are on a rather tight budget after all the other expenditures. Chose shimmery purple for my fingers and shimmery silver for toes.
Secondly, the place where we did our hair! I chanced upon this very affordable deal for some hair styling services a month ago and asked the two girls if they wanted it and thus we got our hair done here!
This was how my hair looked like from the back! The front was just some curls with my fringe down.
Yay finally done with our hair after 1h?? Off to the hotel (Studio M) to prepare!

For the make up, my sister kindly came down and helped me with it! I'm really a complete noob at such feminine things, and totally need a lot of help with it. Thanks so much sis!!! :-)
We headed to the location shortly after all the preparation. We kinda got lost and walked in rounds. It was really tiring to walk in those heels but thankfully the company made everything better.
Finally after almost half an hour of walking around, we found the place. Everybody was dressed really well and I had a hard time recognizing many people lol.
I guess like all other prom nights, the usual games happened (Insta contest, prom king/queen, best dressed, quizzes, lucky draw etc). I was just really famished by the time we reached the place and all I wanted was the food to be served quickly so that I can finally eat. The food was just so-so, but that isn't the main point of the night so it's fine.
I guess we paid for the company of the awesome bunch of friends. Thankful for my class and you all looked so great!!! I shall give the cheesy words a miss since I've already made a dedication to them in my previous post.
Bored by what was happening so.. selfieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Left Marina Mandarin at about 12-ish to catch the last bus back to our hotel.. but we missed it. We wanted to walked back (2.4km.. but in heels????) but Google Maps failed us. Tried to hail for a few cabs but we got rejected because we had 5 people (minus Jin who ditched us). Thankfully, one kind taxi uncle allowed us to board and we made our way back with our sore backs, legs etc.
Washed up and we headed out for supper after. I was the only one (really) pigging out though because I was still hungry. After which, we headed back and talked for awhile about random things. Although it was nothing special, I really enjoyed this very simple after prom activity with the snoopz! Slept at 5am+ and woke up in about 2h for breakfast and to pack.
All of us with our tired faces but whatever haha. It was a really enjoyable stay with them and I'll really miss them so much. We're really going separate ways (at least half of us) but let's not forget to stay in contact and create such fun memories again!
Thankful for everyone mentioned previously and things are really going to change so much from now on. I've officially ended another chapter and I'm excited for what's in store next!
